Beautiful! I have been looking for this on line and been unable to find it. Did you buy a plant or grow it from seed? I was particular interested in your posting because I live outside St. Louis and was glad to see someone fairly nearby was growing this. It gives me hope that I can grow it, too. At least in my zone. I think you may be a little warmer, though. Could you tell me where you got it? Thank you! Pam

Thanks for kind comments, folks.
Pam, I am growing this in my greenhouse during the winter. I got some cuttings from a member of Dave's garden last spring. If we both get to the Missouri Roundup this next summer (June 4 in Columbia) maybe I can swap you some for something else. You can overwinter it in a sunny window inside, but it gets a bit leggy by the end of winter and will need cutting back, I think. Then those pieces can be rooted, of course!

Annie, I am pretty sure you could just have this outside...a frost will nip it back, but not kill the roots.

OH! That sounds great! What's the Missouri Roundup? Sounds interesting. Columbia is only about an hour and a half away. Thanks! Pam

Pam, here is a hyperlink to the Missouri Roundup info so far:

I think it will be fun, and a great way to meet other Missouri gardeners of course!

Thank you so much!
I woke up in the night thinking about what it will be like. : )
Hope to see you there.
