I bought a couple Majesty Palms a few weeks ago at Lowes, I repotted them in new soil and have them in a room that gets a couple hours afternoon light. The leaves started turning brown is this a humidity issue, light or a water issue .... ? I have several indoor fountains and humidity levels isn't usually an issue in the house during winter but maybe these guys need more that what is considered the "comfort zone". Is there something else I should be doing for them ....... ?
If I can keep these alive does anyone have any tips for planting these outside in a zone 5 ...? Should I leave them as houseplants.... ? Can the pots be moved outside...? Can they be planted in the landscape (as long as I repot and bring back in next fall)...?
