This is a close-up of MY Other Sister Sally.
Sorry, it's a little blurry.
Her name is Long, Tall Sally, cuz she was
the only dog Mom & Dad had, that had
LEGS!!
My Brother Bear & his Older Sister, Bubbles
could both fit under Sally. Bubbles was a white,
Toy Poodle. She was about a year older than
Brother Bear. Mom & Dad lost her to cancer.
Come to think of it, My Sister Sally still is the only
1 with LEGS.
The Vet thinks she's part Australian Shepherd
cuz of her coloring & the eyes (1 brown & 1 blue).
Mom & Dad found her at Market Night down-
town here. An animal rescue place had a booth
set up. Dad walked up & Peanut ( bad name
for a biggish dog), jumped up on him and looked
into his eyes, & he was a gonner!!
She had been abused.
Mom said when they first got her, they scolded
her for something & she disappeared. Dad
found her hiding in a corner in a room at the
back of the house.
Whenever the water is turned on outside, she
tries to crawl into any human she can get to.
Usually it's Dad who is outside and Mom has
to get Sally to lay down beside her, instead of trying
to crawl inside her. Now Sally freaks-out even if Dad
just goes outside (he might turn that nasty water
on!!).
My Sister Sally & I don't play much. She's so sweet,
she's afraid she'll hurt me. Dad saw us playing tug
of war the other day, and he says she was being
very gentle with ME. She's very rough when she plays
it with Dad (mostly) or Mom.
Sorry, I don't have very many pics of her. She's not
CUTE like ME!!
