Fast and easy Butterscotch Pralines

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Mix in saucepan:
1 Package Butterscotch Pudding mix - the kind you have to cook (you may use Chocolate-change Br sugar to white)
1 C Sugar
1/2 C Brown Sugar
1/2 C evaporated milk
1 T butter or margerine
Bring slowly to a boil until the soft ball stage, stir often (I test it in a cup of ice water)
Beat until the mixture STARTS to thicken.
Add 1 1/2 C chopped pecans

Drop QUICKLY by Tablespoons onto greased pan, waxed paper or I use foil - you don't have to grease it.
These should set up in just a few minutes. Store in airtight tin or Baggie. Makes about a dozen.
