Cookie Poisoned

Please pray for my little Cookie.
The vet thinks she was poisoned, He took x-rays & said her little stomach was very,very,very infamed & it didn't look good for Cookie.He said he wanted to keep her there at the clinic but she was so traumatized,that it maybe better for me to treat her at home but the minute(if) she turns for the worst,to get her back at the clinic right away.I wanted him to do blood test on her but he said it would do no good because they did not know which poison was used & the test would be useless.I sure didn't know that.Cookie is on 3 kinds of meds. & have to take them 4x a day for the next 5 days.They are going to call me twice a day to check on her but if there is a change for the worst don't wait for their calls-bring her in.What is so bad,I think a neighbor did it.I caught him throwing rocks at Cookie about a week ago & ask him to please don't throw rocks at my dog,then he said well I will just kill her then,and I believe he just did do that or tried.My whole property is fenced in & my 2 dogs are never allowed outside my fence(unless they are in the car with me).
My husband & I got Cookie from the city pound 4 & 1/2 years ago & the day we got her home,we had to take her straight to the vet.She had parvo & was dying-if we had waited until the next day the vet said she would have died that night.It was still luck that she lived.The lady at the pound told us Cookie had come from a very bad abuseive home & that if it had not been for the neighbors calling animal control she would have died.I don't know what this poor thing had gone throught before we got her but the way we were told it was not a pretty picture at all.We name her Cookie because she is so sweet-how can anyone hurt an animal of any kind,I'll never understand.
I pray my little Cookie will be ok-it breaks my heart.If this mean person wanted to hurt my dog because of me-why not hurt me not my dog? She is a beautiful dog even if she is mine-if I can find a picture of her I will try to post it.Thank you for any prayers for Cookie.
