I have a hard time with this too. Lavender is so hit or miss for me. I am going to try winter sowing a few packs and if these don't take I will prolly buy the plants. I love the smell of lavender!

I grew my lavender from seeds and because this is Montana, forget it coming up this next year. I put it in a long flowerbox to winterover in my basement near a south window. This spring I had them on my front deck where it really gets hot and they all came up from the seeds. Wouldn't you know, they started flowering this Oct. and had to bring them in because of the Snow. Good luck

I have grown lavender from seed in the past and I do recall a lonnnng germination period. I think I've read that's just the norm for lavender from seed.

Good luck!
