Beatiful roses. I've been admiring your pics as of late and your trip to the garden must have been wonderful. I had no idea roses would do well in NZ weather.

I am glad you like gardening or rose's . roses do do well here , sometimes a bit washed out with the UV ray's. it is where I work, so many plants .But the garden is open with free Christmas cake tea and coffee. it is the best place to work.

This rose has such beautiful antique/Renaissance shades of red. The form looks like a poppy or peony. Thanks for posting it, and please continue to share the delightful plants of NZ with us!
