White Admirals becoming more common in my area

St. John's, NL(Zone 5b)

I took this pic last August. When growing up, I never saw a White Admiral. In the last few years, I have started to see them here and there. This past two years, they are at least annual in my garden. Glad to see they are increasing...mostly I get Red Admirals, Painted Lady's and Milbert's Tortoiseshells.

Love your photo, Todd. I have noticed an increase in Milbert's Tortoiseshells here in Western Massachusetts this summer, too.

Wow, that's a beautiful shot Todd. I don't think I've ever seen one like that. We had more butterflies in our yard this year too and I noticed more when I walked the dog near the woods. Thanks for sharing.
