I have pink and orange ones and I just got this red one. I've seen the orange and pink ones growing as big standards here and I love them! My friend has a yellow one and I'll get a start as soon as it grows a bit.
Here is the red.

That is RED! Have never seen any before, are they small or large blooms?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

The blooms aren't large, probably a little bigger than my thumbnail and they have that trumpet thingie in the middle, but they are bright and there are lots of them.

Gosh, I had never heard of these before, only Chinese Houses. That is a gorgeous red and the orange is beautiful too. So is it a vine, tree, shrub??

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

all of the above..lol

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

It's a tree or shrub, depends on how you prune it. I'll try to start some cuttings when the red one grows a bit. My orange one is still small too.

ok, just went outside and took a picture of mine..it is well over 8 feet. It arches very graceful like and is sort of 'airy'. The hummingbirds love 'em.

Right! I knew that.......

Thanks Lisa. I wonder what kind of luck I'd have growing it in a big pot and letting it go dormant in the winter in the garage? That would be the only way I could grow something that size. Love the way it blooms up and down the stem/trunk.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

I love it. Susie it's so good to see you happy with your garden again.

Brugie, you can grow them in a pot and put them inside for the winter. I've been doing that for 6 or 7 years. They take very easily from cuttings, also, and mine have never had any bugs that I can remember.

The older the flowers get, the bigger and brighter they get. Their brilliant color reminds me of bouganvillia.

I've got a few cuttings in the GH. If you will remind me this spring I'll send you one.

Calla, do you have a picture of the pink one? Is it bright pink or soft pink?

Wow, that is a beautiful red, Kay. I'll try to remember, but I can barely remember what I had to eat today. LOL! Going to put it on my reminder calendar so my computer will remind me. I can't trust myself to look at a calendar on the wall anymore. Thanks a bunch.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

It does resemble a bougie. Yes, the flowers are papery with a little trumpet thingie sticking out of the middle.
