brugmansias suffered last night
I hope they all come back for you. I've had them frost before, outside, and still continue to bloom. The ones I'd be most concerned about would be the cuttings/seedlings. I'm sure the large ones will still grow, even if they do lose part of the top growth. I'll cross my fingers anyway, that they will all make it okay.
Wow you have a lot of Brugs. A Lot. The stove you have in your GH looks like a pretty good sized one. Your chimney could be plugged. Please keep us informed on how your plants do. I will be praying for you and all your brugs.
Yes, you DO have a lot of brugs. Be careful you don't over exert, don't want to be back in the hospital. Good luck.
I know, i'm trying not to over do it. LOL I'm very much getting back to normal with my health though. I'm pretty sure all the babies are going to be ok, for some reason they didn't sustain as much damage as the bigger ones did, there are a couple babies that might loose a few leaves but that's about it.

Interesting since it might help your brugs to recover!!

16 degrees down in Arkansas? What is going on? It's been in the 40's and 50's up here in the North! The other day when I was cleaning my sunroom it was 89 degrees - I was cookin' in there! Mother nature must be very confused this year. We don't have ANY snow out there, all of my gardens are exposed, and some of the plants even have blooms on them still (mostly the snapdragons that re-seed themselves each year - they must be aclimated here). Freaky Freaky weather.
Kathy, I hope that you have minimal damage. I think the majority will be ok.
Mine got it bad maybe 3-4 weeks ago and they are all coming back. There is new growth up and down the stems and shoots coming up from the base.
this is good to know djm906, maybe mine will come back too,
karrie, what zone are you, i'm zone 7, this is unusual weather for us this time of year, were to have it really bad again tonight. I have a friend that lives in washington, can't remember the city though, she's in zone 8 and it stays warm there most of the time too. Never thought washington would be zone 8 LOL.

Mine were in an unheated greenhouse. One nite went down in the upper 20s. They looked fine, so wasn't too worried. Next nite down to 21, thats when all the leaves hanging down and darkish next morning, so I hastened them all inside. The leaves never came back, all fell off, but now, as I mentioned, there is new growth all over, so I am hoping this will happen to yours also.
