'Simone' ..
Wow -- that's very interesting looking! Can't wait to see her fully opened!
Can we see another pic when it is fully open, looks like a nice one.
Good to see you posting.
Looking forward to seeing Simone open and what your flower looks like on it.
Can't wait to see a photo of it fully open, Alice.
oh poo it's to dark for me to see
Alice -- a current picture, please???
Guess what? The Simone I just got less than amonth ago is rooted. Maybe come spring i'll get to see mine bloom. It is one of the less than 10 brugs that are in my gh this winter. Last year this time I had almost 70 varieties in there.
Yeah, but what else do you have in there this year that is taking up all that space? LOL!
Shirley,
you name it and it's in there!! I start vacation next week at work and plan on starting a new gh also. This one will be 32 ft long though.
You are going to love that new one. I'm so glad you are getting it.
Shirley, I bet he will have it filled up before Spring.....lol
David, I can't believe you rooted this one in cool-cold weather. I know I have had at least 2 cuttings of this one and never got either one to root. Is there anything that you can't root????
Frannie,
I remeber back in my younger days, maybe early teens possibly preteens hearing my dad tell people that I could root a fence post. Though I never did try and root one.
Hey David . . if I were a betting person, my bet would be on you and your Dad's words......lol
Hi David.
Simone roots for me too. ha
All..
Simone opened today, finally.
I will get a pix for tomorrow.
Thanks (o:
Wow Alice, it looks like it might have normal flowers. I'm anxious to see a picture!
looking forward to seing that picture, I had not heard of Simone, now I have to start looking.
David you are opposite to my daughter, we all tell her she could kill an imitation plant, she kills plants no matter what they are.
Doris
I'm anxious to see this one.
Wow, Alice -- you must be thrilled! Congrats!!!
Gosh, she is taking her time. That will be a huge bloom by the time the third skirt opens.
Wow, double wow, Abutilon! Simone is really a grand lady! How beautiful.
MJ
That's the best I've seen her. Way to go Alice!
