Yes Jody, I grow Jim's Pick. One of my 1st daylilies besides Stella D'Oro! I got a bizillion seeds from Jim's Pick--a heavy pod producer. Are you one of the folks that sent me an SASBE?
Sandy
No darnit, I must have missed out.I wish I would have known. Thanks,Jody
Missed this tread also.. : (
me too
Thanks so much Sandy for sharing with me Shirley
They arrived today. Thankyou so much for your generosity. I had just a few dl seeds to try-out and they all went moldy when I tried to sprout them. You have really saved me so that I can try again before next year, I'm particularly looking forward to the "unknown pink spider".
Thanks again
Natasha
Wish I had not missed out on this!
Here's my posting from mid October if anyone is still interested. I should still have enough seeds for probably another five people, as long as you're patient!
I have many daylily seeds as a result of a few dedicated weeks of hand pollinating attempts! It seems like every last one of them took and I will never have enough growing space to start them all. The only catch is I did not keep record of the crosses. This was my 1st real attempt at hybridizing and my tracking system either faded, blew away or fell off. I will have the names of the pod parent on most of them, but many are just a pot luck of sorts. Number of seeds in each packet will vary from two to five on named pod parents, and ten seeds for the pot luck seeds.
Still, if anyone is interested they're yours for an SASE with 49cents postage (Bubble envelope or packing material suggested), your own seed envelope, and patience! I don't have anything packaged up yet....I'm waiting for the weather to get cold so I can make myself stay in the house instead of puttering in the yard with fall cleanup/chores and planting!
Anyone interested should email me at [e-mail:smarfran@aol.com]. using the subject line "Daylily Seeds at Daves Garden". Please, do not contact me through Daves Garden mail. Sometimes I don't get to check into DG for days at a time, but do check my private email account at least every couple days.
I received mine over the weekend! Thanks for the great variety. I can't wait for these to grow and bloom!
Add me to the list.I'll send the sase out this week. Thanks,Jody
