Question for Alohahoya

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

My friend Cathy saw Erythrinas growing on the North Shore of Oahu and she wanted to know if you knew about them and if so, what species are they? She said they were beautiful.

HI - No, I don't know which they would be...don't get over there...but let me ask around of some friends on Oahu. The most common one here is the Christa Galli -

At first I thought you were talking about H. erythrina (guess where my mind is) and was shocked to think they were growing wild there!!!

Sorry to bump in,
Aren't those the ones they call "Wiliwili" at Hawaii? (Erythrina sandwicensis?)
