Ok, finally found some photos of the Captain Jack... we just call him Captain, unless he's in trouble then we yell at him.
Captain repeats ALL the sounds he hears. Sometimes you have to change his train of thought...the microwave sound gets old real fast, as well as each dogs particular bark. :)
They are incredible mimics and do have a lot of ability to process language. He prefers to just make noise, any noise!! lol
He can imitate my voice perfectly and orders all the dogs around. He even tells Tiki to settle down when he gets to noisey. Captains a real hoot. He calls all of the animals by their correct name and at night he calls the cat inside . He says "Good Morning" when he wants uncovered and tells us it's time to go "Night-Night".
He can sing parts of "Jesus loves Me" and "You are My Sunshine"...sad part is I taught him to sing and I sing very badly....so he does too:)
He likes to unlock his cage doors and let himself out so we have had to add double locks to all of his doors & feed cup entrances.
Captain is now 4 years old.
