This photo was taken today in my little GH....I also have versi peach and whiskers blooming outdoors, placed close to the house.
I am just thrilled to still have blossoms! Equador Pink is very light in color I think from the cold. These are her first blooms from a rooted cutting I got in the spring...
Margie
E.P. and other brugs blooming today...Dec. 2 !
very nice, margie!
Oh Boy!! Next year you will be loaded with blooms. Very pretty.
This is great. I got a cutting of E.P. too and I hope it does well here. It's a little cool all summer so I don't know what will color up and what won't. The only cutting so far that doesn't seem to making it is Grand Marnier and I bought from eBay.
Phew! You had me worried there for a second. What was that first one by the way? They're both lovely.
Margie, what kind of heater do you use?
My EP never gets dark here. Too cool I guess.
Great pictures, Margie.
Is the first one Big Yella?
Beautiful blooms, sure brightens up a day!
Please tell us what the first brug is...........
Very nice blossoms. Very fragrant I suspect. Congratulations.-Bagpypr
Thank you all for you nice comments...actually I wish I could tell you what the first one is !! A gardening friend gave it to me as a cutting labeled "pink insigni". I figured out at least it was PI-NOT !! She said that she also has Dr. Suess and Charles Grimaldi that it could be. So I guess it is one of those! Is there anyway I could tell the difference between them? I would sure appreciate it. Especially now that one of my DD saw this one and loves it!
kell...I am using a Mr. Buddy heater. It runs on propane gas. The tank outside connected with a 12' hose. It goes from 4000 BTU's on low or 9000BTU's on high. I have had it on since our cold hit a few days ago. I turn it on low about 9p and off around 8a. It has been keeping the GH in the high 40's while it is 28-32 outside. GH link has more about it ! The biggest trouble is that it has NO thermostat! I have a remote thermometer to monitor the temp in the GH...I guess you could say, I AM THE THERMOSTAT !!!

BTW...just noticed that there is some toothing on the leaves like on Whiskers, but not as noticeable. Would that indicate it is a Dr. Suess or a CG?
I keep a thermometer in my sunroom, to check on it. If it gets too cold, I either open up the door to our bedroom (so much for the heat) or will move them if it gets any colder. So far it hasn't got under 40 in there, even when the window blew open (now fixed). I often check it in the middle of the night on the real cold nights, or early in the morning - just to know for sure that they don't get too cold. I think they may be able to handle the whole winter in there as we've already had it dip into the low 20's now, and we are going to seal the room even better, this weekend with duct tape (I'm painting the whole room next Spring, health willing). I have one bloom on my Isabella remaining. I guess that's not too bad for a seedling, in December.
Are you bracing for the big Snow storm they are predicting for tonight and tomorrow, Karrie? Krem 2 news was saying areas in and around Spokane could get as much as 6 - 12 inches before it's over. It's staring here already in the form of Ice Pellets. Sigh... I said goodbye to my beautiful green grass this afternoon. Sniff...
Just beautiful, Margie!! Way to go!!!!!!!
