SHHHHH! I am sneaking into the BRUG forum to give you some info I thought some of you would like.

8ftbed(Blaine) has a son stationed in Iraq...he has furnished us with some names of soldiers that would like Pen-pals! I didn't know there would be so many! So come on, letsgo over here and pick us a soldier!! Jo

You never have to sneak into here! LOL. We would love you to come visit and stay awhile! I loved that thread you linked to. Great ideas in there to support our guys and girls who are so far from home.

Thanks Jo. I have been there and picked out a pen-pal and will get another if needed. It's a great idea. I hope everyone will go check it out. These wonderful people would really appreciate a Christmas card with a note in it or a small surprise. I'm looking forward to sending mine. Thanks to Blaine too.

Shoot Jo, you don't have time to grow brugs. With all the roundups to go to, the brugs would never make it anyway. Hope you guys are coming to Iowa again this year.

I'm going shopping in the morning for my next one. I know these guys and gals will appreciate getting these packages very much. I remember when my brother was in the service during Nam and he really enjoyed getting my care packages.
