Which Brug is this?

Boulder Creek, CA(Zone 9a)

Brought this inside to finish blooming, but somehow the name got lost in the shuffle.

Looks like it has quite a few buds. I like the 'no leaves' look.

My guess would be Whiskers or Solid Gold, hard to tell without leaves, hope you got them from a reliable source... Do those names sound familiar?

Could it be Charles Grimaldi? I just remembered that name. Came from a good local nursery.

Charles Grimaldi is a common one, as is Dr. Seuss. Both of mine are yellowish. Enjoy the fragrance!

Hope so, the jury seems to be out on the real CG, lol.
Here's mine, (I think)

sr, CG has smooth edged leaves and Dr. Suess has serrated or toothed leaves. I'd say you probably have CG except for the angle of the bloom. However, maybe I didn't have the real McCoy. This one has been such a problem to get straight that I just don't have either one now and don't have to worry about them. LOL! Pretty bloom.

I recall now that it was sold as CG. We did enjoy the fragrance last night. It's in a spare bedroom and just enough wafts out after dark to enjoy. The smell is too intense inside the bedroom.

They are gorgeous. I'll have to find the photos of the one we planted. It's about twelve feet tall now.-Bagpypr
