request for seeds

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

hello. I am hoping to send my Greek pen pal a selection of hardy hibiscus seeds as a x/mas present. I would greatly appreciate it if you could send me a few of your seeds for SASE. Don't care about colors, just that they are fresh and relatively easy to germinate. My buddy is an avid gardener and a hibiscus enthusiast and I think an "american" selection would just thrill her to death (well, hopefully not literally...) thank you very much.

If you are still looking for hibiscus seeds, I have a BUNCH of hibiscus manihot I could send you.

Lisa, what a nice surprise and lovely offer. I have your addy in my files, will send you SASBE tomorrow. thanks. I got a good response here and on GW, I think I'll be sending Irm about 10 different things. She'll be thrilled. And if this weren't enough, my own althea "helene" had pods (i've never noticed before) after curious inspection I found seeds so I put them in a tiny baggy and in the group with the stuff I'm collecting for her. Oh no, I see it coming--another obsession: seed collecting.

Hope all's well with you and thanks. nery
