Hello!

Hello, everybody! I've just joined this forum, looking forward to participating. I've planned to landscape my yard ever since retiring, just done a little. Now Hurricane Ivan has done some of the work for me, just as soon as we get the yard cleared. We lost about 7 large trees, so now instead of shade, I have sun! I'm interested in planting low maintenance alternatives to grass, both to save the environment, and me! We live in the Florida Panhandle, on a large bay. We got docks and other debris from as far away as Gulf Breeze, and tons of mulch!

This looks like a great site to learn more about gardening and landscaping!
