You can not trust them!!
Kell,
Did you want him to do that? Holy cow, i bet hes going to be in deep doo doo if you didnt want him to, lol
I'm sure the jury would understand. Temporary Insanity is an excellent defense.
OOOOOOPS, hurry up and pack those in a box, send them over to me befor Kell catches you and whip the daylights outta ya
It sure is a purity bloom, Kell.
too funny Kell
There's more to this, right??? It's just not the kinda thing I would think he would do, without being instructed or asking first, huh??
I told him I was going to cut it back into a smaller allee tree. He was showing me he knew how to do it!! He just made it way too short! I have 2 more huge suckers of this size of this brug in the brug garden, I may have to saw another down to get my tall standard.
I would leave them where they are but they are so tall and top heavy, I doubt they would last a winter storm without snapping.
I love how this one holds her wide open blooms. This is Susie brug!
Here it is in the garden before it was chopped on.
I'm giggling...
sorry Kell
I can see Chuck doing the SAME thing
That why he's not allowed to touch the cutters
kell, there is never a dull moment when your around.
Poor Tom... I bet it will be a perfect size once it's rooted and in the ground. Boy, that is the tallest plant I've ever seen with blooms up that high.
Poor Tom my foot! Poor Kell, at least you have another one to get the size that you want! Just make SURE that he only cuts EXACTLY where you tell him. My Tony would do the same thing, and tells me all the time that he hates the brugs, but he always talks about them to other people. He must not be saying terrible things, because he's asked me if I have any to give away to some of them. On the other hand, he might just be trying to thin the herd. Silly man, that just gives me more room for new ones, right?
OUCH! Pictures 1 & 2 most have really hurt! Thank goodness Brugs are forgiving and will continue to grow. Hopefully by next summer, your tree will be filled with beautiful blossoms again.
Tee-Heee, Kell ur a hoot !
Kell, the worst thing is that you are making all of us northerners very jealous of your great gardening abilities and the fact that you can still look at brugs outside. You will have a beautiful allee tree next summer. Donna
Wowzers Kell,
2 days in a row for POD ! ! !
Kinna expected this . Congrats on the 'most excellent' thread and photo.
Beautiful bloom Kell ... all in all he is a good guy. He does giving you a helping hand when you need it!
