Good morning all! It is so windy out and supposed to get to 95 today. It was terrible out last night - 50-60 mph winds. I can't believe we didn't have any more damage than some downed tree limbs.
My hives are acting up and the outside heat makes them feel worse. I've gone through numerous testing and never have pinpointed what caused them. The only thing I can think is that I did some mowing and I also cleaned a bunch of stuff out of storage out of our basement and the stuff was pretty dusty. I hope they don't get bad enough that Dr has to give me prednisone - hate that stuff but hives are pretty uncomfortable at their worst.
Dh bought a used 4 wheeler - got a pretty good deal on it - I was outnumbered 2-1 since dd has been nagging for one for quite awhile. It will be nice since the pasture we use is about 1/2 mile deep.
KathyJo - we have used the Ivomec Pour On on our cattle. I think there's a similar product called Dectomax. It's supposed to take care of parasites and the biting flies. We saw a demo once on the biting flies and it was amazed how much blood they can such out of a cow. We also use the back rubs in the pasture and vaccinate for pinkeye.
Well better go - lots to do - have coompany coming on Wednesday.
You all have a good day.
