I just found 2 of my hoyas have them. So I got out my mixture of alcohol.oil and soap. sprayed them down good. got them all that I can tell. will keep this up for a while. What I would like to know is, what about the dirt?? Do i change it? Or do they just stay on the plant?? HELP PLEASE!! BINKY :(((((

Usually you don't have to change the soil, just lightly spray the surface with your mix to get any that dropped off beforehand.

Thanks, I was hopping that is what I would hear. I hated to think of doing all that. I will make sure that I spray the dirt as well as the plants . Boy them mealys come on fast!! Must learn to check more often, Binky :)))))))

It's a good idea to isolate them from your other hoyas while they are "mending". I hope your oil and soap mixture was "light" as the plants also need to "breathe" ... LOL. Alcohol alone, full strength will usually do the job will no ill effects to the plant....

Good luck...keep us informed as to progress. Carol
