Christmas came early...along with Dell's free shipping sale on a $499.00 Dimensions 3000 Series, Intel Pentium 4 Processor (3GHz). It comes with EVERYTHING, including a flat panel display. My son, who is playing Santa, upgraded to a 80GB 7200RPM Ultra ATA Hard Drive. Please understand that I know NOTHING about what all this is, I'm only copying a little off of the 2 page Invoice.
Anyway, the only thing I use my computer for is AOL and a few letters stored in my Microsoft Word Processor. I THINK I have stored those on a floppy disk for transfer to the new 'puter, and I will call AOL to find out if there will be a problem with my "stuff" with them, and getting the free months hookup that comes with the package even though I am already a member.
As I sit here contemplating the boxes (today's the day for installation) I just wanted someone to know what happened if I disappear into cyberspace, never to be seen again!!
