Here is one of your beautiful Arborea seedlings just before she was dug up for the winter.
She is now residing in the picture window and has Y'd a few times..
I love this brug and so anxious to see some blooms.
Maybe this winter even ??
Look Poppysue
Hey Scoot! It looks great! I love the soft leaves on aboreas. I bet it does bloom this winter. My first bloom was on a tiny cutting in the winter.
Oh boy , Oh boy ,Oh boy . Hope you are right.
Nice, Scoot. Next year I hope I can put all of mine in the ground (I just don't have that much ground) I plan to have some trees cut over the winter to make more room (of course then there will be the roots to deal with).
Linda,
Planting in the ground at this point in life is necessary,
as I am not home for days at a time , to water pots once or twice a day.
In my zone ,
I do give up some late summer blooms though . When frost threatens they need to be dug or clipped for cuttings, ASAP.
Whereas potted brugs can be moved to shelter from frost and brought back out for more sunny days and more blooming.
AH yes, we all do what we must do.
Good luck with your new planting area next Spring.
You're going to love this one. Mine came from the other coast and I love it. Hope it will survive the garage temps this winter.
It looks so nice Scoot. Mine didn't like TX, it couldn't take the heat.
Aw , sorry to hear that Susie )-;
Sounds like this one should maybe go on the list of " Tempermental Angels" ('-'?)
So far , so good .
