My husband and I made this tower for Grayse today, and she loves it! It's not quite finished. I have to get some more rope to finish the top of it. It is 6' tall, and she loves being up so high. She's been perched on it since we put her on the top shelf. We think it's pretty cool! I've been seeing the ones in PetSmart, but the prices they want for them is pretty crazy, or at least for us they are, so we built her one that I thought she would like, and fit her personality. My DH really did an amazing job building it, and we're so happy with it!!! She loves playing with weed-whacker string, so I am going to staple some onto it so she can play when she's on it. She likes those small mice you can buy at PetSmart, so I might figure out a way to put it on there, to entice her to use the tower. I can hardly wait to see her play on it! I think we were more excited about it, at first, than she was!!! I told my husband I was so impressed with it, it made me want to play on it myself....LOL. As long as Grayse is happy, that's all I care about. We are going to make another one, but not with shelves, just a scratching post so she uses that instead of everything else in the house. That one should go even smoother because we know what to do, and not to do.
