The 1st picture of Isabella, I took back in Sept. when she was in full bloom. I brought her in around the middle of Oct. when it was supposed to get cold & we were going to Ark.. When we got back the end of Ark., I noticed that she had 2 flower buds on her, but one of them dropped off, but the other has decided to go ahead & bloom. She is holding her leaves pretty good too.
Isabella is doing well in the house.
Isabella a beauty! Congratulations!
Yes, buds will fall off when going from the outdoors to inside your house. Changes in temperature, changes in humidity, and sometimes just being tempermental!
I'm really amazed not just that she is blooming, but that she is holding on to most of her leaves. A few have fallen off, but Kyle's Giant White has lost all its leaves, except for 1.
Isabella will always be one of my favorites because of her strength and the ability to put one flush on after another. For me this brug tolerates everything and the insects do not bother it like it does the others I have. I just wish it has more fragrance.
It must be nice to have blooms inside now.
You are right, it is frangrant, but not as much as others are, but sure has a pretty bloom. And like you said, the mites don't bother it as much either. Not sure why, I have a Kyles Giant White & I'm constantly having to spray for mites on it.
I've just really been amazed that she hasn't dropped her leaves, but they are hanging on along with the bloom.
hi Jan, glad u are still enjoying ur brugs in the house.
Isn't it awesome having blooms in the house!!!!
It really is awesome. I figured by this time all the leaves would have dropped off, but Isabella is holding almost all her leaves & the flower is still blooming. It is really amazing.
