Milan, HELP.
After uploading (downloading, whatever) a picture of a hoya in the PDB, I try to get back to the PDB...but the only way I can find to do it is to start at the beginning...search for "hoya" and then try to remember the number of the page I was on. Is there another way to do this? If I hit BACK, I often get cancelled out.
Can you give me a short cut?
TIA,
Carol
Uploading pictures frustration
Uploading would be the correct term :)
Usually the "Back" button is the way to go. What do you mean by "cancelled out" ? Do you get an error message and if so what is the message? Try hitting the "Refresh" button when you get the problem while going back.
Let me know,
Milan
Yes...it is a message saying the page is no longer available...Refresh doesn't help, Forward doesn't do anything...makes uploading photos somewhat of a pain....
You gurus must have some secret...;~)
Thanks, Carol
Darn have to give the tricks away :)
Instead of normal left clicking on the "Upload an image of this plant", right click and choose "Open in new Window" or even better do this with the plant in your search results. Now you only have to close the window with the picture upload once you are done and the other window still shows your search results, no need to use Back button.
If you have Firefox (click the Safer,Faster, Better icon on the bottom of this page) you can also choose "Open link in New Tab" which then opens a new tabulated window (easier to toogle inbetween).
Enough secrets given away LOL.
