Seed Pod Question?

Waco, TX(Zone 8b)

I have my first seed pods developing right now. They are on my Milk & Honey and had to be crossed with my Cypress Garden. They were the only two blooming at the same time. How long does these seed pod take to ripen?

Thanks,
Clayton

I have pods on EP that have been there over four months now. I think it depends on the weather/warmth. Good luck. Sounds like you will soon be knee deep in seeds.

Brugie, I might have to do that. Here is another question. Have you ever heard of one call Coconut? I received a cutting in a trade last winter with some others. This one hasn't bloomed but all of the other cuttings has. Plus I can't find no information on this one.

I haven't heard of it, but that doesn't mean it can't exist. Maybe one of the other members here has heard of it and will jump in with some info.

There are so many now, I can't keep up either. I hope you get your pod ripened! I just love watching pods.

I have heard of Coconut but don't remember where. I hope you get some interesting blooms from your cross next year. You will love growing out seeds. It is so exciting to see their little heads pop up and grow up into big brugs.

Someone else was asking about 'Cocount' back in the Spring. I'll do a search and see if I can find anything.
