I have found Kim to be an enabler of the worst sort!! Every time I log on, she's got another batch of seeds up there for flowers I've never seen, and of course just HAVE to have. She must have a secret source we don't know about :) We need to start Kimaholics Anonymous...lol.
OMG - I'm SO glad to hear you say that! I honestly thought it was just me! Really - it's bizarre!!! I can pass by tons of trades, but it seems like every time there's a "KimGaither" attached to it, it's a "must have". I really did give myself a new name after the tenth (at least) KG offer I had to have...My new name is "Piggy-piggy, Oink, oink"! I'm so glad to hear that SHE'S responsible for this - not me! Seriously...This I what I have found out. Everytime I see a plant or flower I like...I'll go look
in the PDB. 99.9% of the time it's in the same family. I have recently discoverd this over the last few months. I'll look at a plant and say..."Ohhh got to have it"! To find out it's in the Scrophulariaceae, Papilionaceae, or Ranunculaceae Family. I gues we can all find out where our likings are... I want Amorpha canescens (lead plant) and still don't have it after 12 months of wanting. I looked at the PDB yesterday, to find out it's on the Papilionaceae Family. Should have known..Every plant I like.. seems to be in one of these families...LOL.
And see, we depend on you to be the smart one. I just see one and say, "Oh, look at the pretty flower, I WANT ONE!!" Lol. Guess I'd better brush up on my species, huh?
Ok, I've got it. You just make a list of all our names. Once a month we'll send you postage and shipping supplies, and you can just ship us some of every seed you come across. That way, we'll all be happy, and your e-mailbox won't be so full...
