MY NEW BRUG

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

It's called NAKED LADY after the spider lily that has no leaves. The frost got the leaves but the buds still look like they may have another chance. Should I add it to the PLANTS DATA BASE? Lol

Great name for her Jim. We have to have a good sense of humor when growing these plants. LOL!

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

Jim is that the winter version of Golden Lady? LOL.

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Delisa that Golden Lady you gave me is blooming now. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow if the rain lets up enough. Thanks again for your kindness giving me all those brugs as we were leaving the swap.

San Jose, CA(Zone 9b)

No offense intended, Jim, but it looks like a little Charlie Brown Brug! Oh well, I'm sure it's a beauty with it's leaves intact. Boy, it sure is LOADED with buds!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Looks ok to me. Who needs leaves anyway?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I was going to say the name should be a Naked Old Lady but then I remembered I am not quite considered old yet but I look even worse!! LOL

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

to cute Jim. Still enjoying a very mild winter so far but it will hit us soon I'm sure. Still haven't gotten all my plants in the GH yet.

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

I like that name for a brug. I don't know why ? LOL leaves are optional ?

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Lol at all you folks. Glad we all have a good sense of humor. I tend to get to serious about my brugs sometimes. Thanks for all the comments.

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

I think it is Lycoris radiata (Red Spider Lily) given to us as Lycoris squamigera (Naked Lady) at a trade in fall 2003? I know I was told they were naked ladies and the bag of bulbs was red spider lily. I still love them anyway.

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Delisa I think I was the one that gave a lot away at that swap. I have a yard full. Here's the close up Kell. I think the photo that you posted is what I call Surprise Lily.

Jim I did not get mine from you.

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Delisa do you want some more. LOL
I think I carried some to Carol and to Darius and maybe some one else and I carried some and gave away to someone. Might have been Julie. Bobbie said I gave the bag to Darius when I had given everyone all that I promised. She is never wrong. LOL

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Delisa I went out to take a picture of Garden Lady and all the blooms that have opened looks bad but some more buds coming soon . I'll take a picture when they open. Thanks again.

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

kells is different than mine and your first to the bottom is different your last one is what i grow i like yours better i have the little red one but there is a difference there too . there are more than i knew about have to try them all . I have tried a white ones and yellow and they have to be dug . Prudy Lillie's what ever they are .

Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

Julie gave me a bag of them at the trade that she told me she brought so propably wasnt her. A big bag of them. I handed them out at the trade there were so many. I still had plenty to give another friend and I still have lots.

I gave away my Golden Lady because Arlene was going to give me a much larger one. It has been blooming like crazy and I have been pollinating her every time a flower opens.

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

You can't hijack your own thread Scoot! LOL

They all look so different! Even the pink ones! I just bought some at a Farmers' Market in August that are a very dark pink. Now I have to go look and see if I can find the pictures.

Hey I found them right away!
