Still pretty 3 days later

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

Took 2 more pics this morning. Some blooms are looking very sad now,but others are still looking good. When I posted on the 16th most were already 3-5 old...some older. This one has gotten a lot darker. Love it! :-)))

Over the summer this one was much darker. The plant that had unopened buds is also pink.

I zoomed in on the pic so ya'll can sorta see a bee comming in for a landing...they sure have been busy! Smelled one this morning before I realized there was a bee inside. Lucky for me it stayed put.

The blooms really do seem big and pretty much staying open all day right now. Makes me a happy camper!

Thanks Brugie...I really wasn't sure if it would be called yellow or something else. To me it has more of an orange hue...now I know. LOL

If I had to guess, I would say that it could be Dr. Suess and if it is, yes, it would have some orange to it. It is really hard to find pure colors that remain the same from beginning to end. That is what I'd love to have in a yellow. Pure yellow from beginning to end.

Wow....very beautiful blooms.

Lewiston, CA(Zone 7b)

I love this color. Pinks are nice, but there's just something about this rich color I really like. Pretty, gotta name?X?

Pretty pictures. Isn't it great how they do so much better as the weather cools a little.

Beautiful! I'm so envious of anyone who still can grow their Brugs or other tropicals OUTSIDE! Don't they know it's almost Thanksgiving!!! Bet you are thankful! :~)

Thankful? you bet I am!

Yesterday and today warmer here. Rain last night. A bunch of blooms dropped today. Is there a way of telling, short of actually seeing one,if the bees did a good job and I'll have pods?
