Absolutely there are times the other boxes will be less expensive. But there have also been many times that I sent plants and the cost is more expensive depending on where I send them.

My friends call me a packing queen because I cram a lot into a box. Well, now I can cram a lot into a box without it then costing me $15 to ship. Coooooool!! Hmmmmm, I may not be done trading for the season after all! LOL

wow that is great. Sure wish they would have started it this summer

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

I'm excited about this! I'm going to go back to trading plants. Most of my plant pals are on the west coast. When I send a box it's always around 18.00 + OUCH...
Can't wait.

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

That's fabulous! Most of my plant trades have been around $8 to $9, so this will save money, AND I will be able to add more weight - I like to leave the ends in their soil, moisten, wrap with papertowels and newpaper, then plastic - but is tends wo weigh a bit more that way - this will sure help.

Thanks for the news!

Lewisburg, KY(Zone 6a)

That is great and just in time for Christmas shipping!

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

My son just got a package yesterday from his girlfriend in New York & it is in the Flat Rate box that is shown at the link. It is a good sized box! So I guess some PO's already offer them. I looked at the postal store to see of they were on there but they are not yet. I really like having the priority boxes on hand & having them delivered to your door free is a real plus. :~)

I saw these today in the post office there in NY

Hubbard, OR(Zone 8a)

They are now online. I just ordered some of each size. $7.70 is a bargain when you send plants from Oregon to all of you on the east side.

j_vino,
can you post the link? I cannot find them in the postal store.
Thanks
