My Rosamond hasn't bloomed. Don't you just love being in the gh? Sometimes I just go out there and stand (got to get me a chair) LindaSC

Rosamond is beautiful! Thank you for sharing it with us.

Thank you all for your comments!
Linda, it was my plan to have a chair in my little GH, and as a matter of fact I had 3 chairs in it in the beginning, for friends too, that was until I added my plants! Now I cannot even fit one for me!! I have to just stand. But, yes I just love it, especially when I go out first thing in the morning and open the vents up. My glasses fog from the humidity and it smells so good! I am so happy I got it, but of course it is way too small!!

I just love Rosamond. She is a most entertaining brug! I can't wait to see how dark yours gets since you have it hotter than I do in summer! I would love a brug that had both the pink there and the yellow on one tree!

Gorgeous! That is one beautiful bloom, even if it isn't dark pink at this time of year.

Gorgeous, Picturelady!

Rosamond still doesn't do it for me. I think there must be a big environmental difference that she just doesn't adjust to in Iowa versus California. She doesn't recurve like yours at all here and she doesn't get dark or poofy like Kell's does. Can't figure it out. She does get large. Both the plant and the blooms. Here is a picture. Pretty boring here, isn't she? I'll just have to enjoy yours and Kell's. Margie, your pictures are great.

Rosamond is a real beauty. It is amazing how climates affect brugs but I guess it does other plants also.

Shirley, I think yours is beautiful, too!!

Very Nice Margie!

Rosemond wash my favorite flower this summer. Very heat tolerant. I would come home from work, and since it was in a pot, it would look almost dead. Perked up right away after watering!

Yours should darken up Margie.

My poor plant now is naked as a newborn baby, in my bedroom.

Paul...your Rosamond is nice and dark...I will have to see what next summer brings for me! Your pictures are lovely, too!
Gretchen...yes, I do love it! A little while ago I went out and took more pictures and just sat on my step stool and looked and looked, of course taking another picture each time I was impressed with my view! Would you believe about 20 ?! Not much darker this afternoon though!
Editied to say...I didn't realize that this photo was blurry...(embarassed)...Will post a clear one below...!! ;-o

Isn't it amazing????

Brookhaven, PA(Zone 6b)

It normally starts curling up at night, but only at night, for me anyway, on the 3rd day. My blooms lasted at least a week!

San Jose, CA(Zone 9b)

Margie, your photos are great. Your Brugs are all looking so happy in their GH. Rosamond is really beautiful. I hope they bloom all winter long for you!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Sadly Margie, it won't get that much darker in the winter. Here it does not get that much darker in the summer! LOL.

It still is a stately brug! A beauty for sure.

My ideal brug would be very dark pink Rosamond, skirt to calyx ... dark dark pink all the way up! Hey what a great idea for a winter thread!!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Beautiful Margie.
