Can I train my Alyogyne huegelii to a tree or is it best left as a bush?
Tree Hibiscus?
I'm not overly familiar with that species, but looking at images of it, it looks like it would be very challenging to train as a tree. It looks like it has a very strong, branching habit, similar to Plumbago, which I couldn't imagine trying to train into a tree.
Never hurts to try though. :-)

This has got to be one beautiful plant! California hibiscus...the periwinkle blue flower is exceptional....I found it needs oodles of heat to do it's thing! Elaine
Meh, I'll just keep it bush form. More flowers that way. But I have a newly rooted tropical hibiscus that I'm going to try as a tree. Hope it works!
