Advise on upgrading computer

Central, KY(Zone 6b)

Well, I've decided to just keep my old computer now that I've gotten the restore done and everything is back up and running. DH reminded me that a new computer would cut into my gardening funds! I would like to upgrade it some tho. I looked at a site from an old post by gardenwife, crucial.com, and did their memory adviser. It showed that I could upgrade my RAM from 128 to a maximum of 384.

Is there anything else that I can do, or upgrade, to make it a little quicker? I will be doing some photo editing and printing, surfing and using Microsoft Office XP Pro. I most often notice that it is slower than I'd like when I am working with my pictures.

I have a 14.9 gig hard drive with 11.5 still available - haven't added MS Office yet. Also have an AMD Athlon K7 processor and currently 128 MB RAM. My OS is Win 98SE

Thanks,
Vicki
