The plant is a huge Cape Honeysuckle (Tecomaria capensis). It's probably in the neighborhood of 15'x15'. A lot of the hummer images I post are with this plant as the background. It blooms in flushes 3-4 times a year (at least). This last flush was particularly heavy and there are some other things blooming too. So, there seem to be a lot of hummers in the yard presently.

The bottom balcony on the house overlooks this particular plant, so I can just go out and stand around with my camera and wait until a hummer or two or three comes along. Usually one hummer will chase off another, so it's not often that I see more than one feeding at a time. They also seem to hang around perched on the branches inside this huge shrub because I can hear them making noises all the time.
