Dbl Pink Confederate Rose cuttings

I will be cutting my confederate rose back this week and will have cuttings to share.



I need to close this untill I get the ones I have promised if I have more I will post again later.

How do we treat the cuttings. I have a small one and don't really know how the best way is.

I cut the stalks into pieces about 8-10" and put in water to root. I change the water once a week untill they root, I think about Feb (when they have good roots) I pot them up and in the spring I plant outside.

OOOh, yes - that is lovely Yardbird - I would love a cutting. I have rooted brugmansia cuttings in the following varieties to trade:

Jean Pasco, Golfito, Isabella and Dr. Seuss
or
I have Datura Seeds - triple yellow, triple white or double purple.

Let me know and can you tell me what variety of rose that is? Is it true rose or a rose of sharon?

Diane it isn't a true rose it is Confederate Rose, Cotton Rose
Hibiscus mutabilis.
