This little joy was flowering today in my garden. Hard to believe it was covered in snow 3 weeks ago. Only 5 more months until I see the spring versions. The crocus is C. serotinus ssp. salzmanni.

Aren't they a wonder?? Just what you need this time of year, a glimpse of spring to keep you through the winter months.
