I like to make quiche during the holiday company rush; here's a favoite; what's your's?
9 inch pie shell
1/2 crisp cooked bacon, crumbled
2 cups shredded Swiss Cheese
2 Tbsp. flour
4 eggs
1 1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
8 oz sliced mushrooms; fried w/a some onion
1/2 small can Ortega diced green chilies
1 Tbsp. hot sauce
Pierce and bake pie shell at 450 for 8 minutes.
Toss cheese with flour and place in pie shell with bacon. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over cheese. Bake at 325 for 50- 60 min. until top is lightly browned and mixture is set.
