I waited and watched for over 2 years while this monster seedling grew and grew. Never had a flower!
edited to say the lower flower that is pendulous is a Big Yella flower, not from the seedling.

Fantastic! Some pics wouldn't come up, just has a red x. Enjoyed the ones that we could see. It has a whopper bloom.
kell that is a real monster you have there, but a beautifull one
Love it, the shape and size of the bloom, and the wavy leaves. Are you keeping cuttings?
Very pretty, Kell.
Kell, what a huge tree and such nice large blooms. guess it was worth waiting 2 years for . Donna
hope my seedling doesn't keep going like that, I measured her this morning, she is 4'6" one long straight stem has had lots of branches cut off that I can see, no Y yet and has large leaves, first plant I bought on ebay befor I knew how generouse members were on here when I joined in July.
This is Jamaca X V Orange
Very pretty Kell!
Its just beautiful. Gives me hope. I have a couple of 6 footers that have not bloomed yet. I was wondering if I should let them stay. Guess I will. Lol.
Very pretty Kell. I love the way the blooms point outward instead of down.
I have a seedling like that growing too. It has two buds on it that looked like they were starting to shrivel from the cold, so I cut it and put it in water. I am sure hoping it goes ahead and blooms out.
Wow Kell I wish I could grow mine that big and not have to cut them back
Great pictures. You should make them into a movie. LOL!
I had trouble with Dave's last night. It started loading the pics out of order. Terry deleted the bad posts for me.
Kareoke, yours is looking good! Seems to like it indoors.
I love this one too. It is so wide open and happy looking. Today the flowers look more yellow. Hope it darkens next summer. And it better not wait till November to flower again.
This one lived outside all winter last year and did well. So I am hoping it wil be OK this winter. It is so tall we better not have any long frosts.
I am dying to see how the pods would look but no way I can get up there to pollinate one. It is near Big Yella which has thousands of flowers on her. Oddly, I never get volunteer pods on BY.
Here is the pic that wouldn't load right. A fat twin trunk.
kell maybe you should make friends with the tree trimmer and ask him to take you up in his bucket to pollinat the blooms *LOL*
Nice pictures Kell. Glad you finally got to see it bloom after two years and that you like it and therefore, it was worth the wait.
Yes, thank goodness it is beautiful after your long wait. Just wondering, since we are the same zone type, have you left other Brugs out to over winter before? A bit of a gamble, I bet.

Wow Kell! That just amazes me! Im glad it bloomed so nice for you.
