Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Yes, we see what you see. Looks like a good one! Ain't this fun? Makes getting up in the morning worthwhile.

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Woo hoo, Kell. Which one is that?

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

way to go kell, you needed another bloom *LOL*

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Can't wait to see it fully opened.

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Kell, yes worth while to see getting up in the morning, but did you have to get up that early!!!!!!!!!!! Sure want to see the post when it is open. Donna

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Wow !! I can hardly wait to see what you have there . Thanks for sharing your excitement with us.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Oh I see it too Kell. Hope it's a good one

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Congrats. I hope it is a beauty. Will cross my fingers that it has color in it.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Com'on Kell
Does it have color?
is it a keeper????

Raleigh, NC(Zone 7b)

Cool! Hope it turns out to be something nice. I notice the calyx is split several times, I thought most of the doubles only had one split like B. candida?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

That is interesting Tom. I haven't heard that.

The tag must be down the side of the pot. I should pull the rootball out but am afraid to when the bud is there. With my luck I will knock it off and have to wait till next year to see what it is.

Unfortunately, it is not at my house. It is one of my seedlings that I house over at a friends. I had EDW and GL seedlings there that could make a double. I may have to go over today and have a look. But it is cool here and I bet it will take a few days to open up all the way and get its color, if any!

I just can't wait to see if it gets color and what color!! She is about 5 feet.

WooohooooKell! I'm excited for you and can't wait to see how she turns out! Xing fingers and toes for color!!!

Kelley, so did you double L'Amour? LOL L'Amour seedlings often having the calyx covering most of the corolla ... Bet not, but that was my first thought, when I saw the long calyx and the long tendrils :) Anyway, I would just say, that I find it has a great shape so far and that I am hopping up and down the sofa to see a few more shots LOL ... and to be guessing entirely wild, of course :)

Tonny ... long out in the woods

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Im hoping great things here for you Kell!!

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Open..Open..Open..

Patience is not one of my virtues.

Hiouchi, CA(Zone 8b)

OK Tonny you got my interest
why are you ?

Quoting:
... long out in the woods

Dick :-)

Dick, I worded it wrong LOL Should be far out in the woods :) ... because every time, that Kelley post a picture of one of her many seedlings blooming I love to see, if I can guess, what cross it might be. 99,9 % of the guesses is wrong, but that just encourage me to guess the rest of the 0.1% , so you can say, that most of my guesses is far out in the woods ;-)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Kell, how is this one doing now? Any color?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Everytime I see this thread I hear this song over and over again in my head till I am nuts!

Said the night wind to the little lamb,
"Do you see what I see?
Way up in the sky, little lamb,
Do you see what I see?
A star, a star, dancing in the night
With a tail as big as a kite,
With a tail as big as a kite."

Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy,
"Do you hear what I hear?
Ringing through the night, shepherd boy,
Do you hear what I hear?
A song, a song high above the trees
With a voice as big as the sea,
With a voice as big as the sea."

Said the shepherd boy to the mighty king,
"Do you know what I know?
In your palace warm, mighty king,
Do you know what I know?
A Child, a Child shivers in the cold--
Let us bring him silver and gold,
Let us bring him silver and gold."

Said the king to the people everywhere,
"Listen to what I say!
Pray for peace, people, everywhere,
Listen to what I say!
The Child, the Child sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light,
He will bring us goodness and light."

Hiouchi, CA(Zone 8b)

Tonny

i don't think your that ...far out of the woods (grin) with the L'Amour guess
knowing how much Kelley likes L'A
this might be one of your .01% guess's

Dick

I haven't checked the pot yet for the tag.

I had to go download the pics I took today. I looked at this bloom a hundred times today. I made all my friends come and look at it. And woe to me, even though I would see a slight pink in the very center every 3rd time I looked, it would disappear upon the next viewing!!

There is still hope, it has hardly moved since I saw it last Friday! At least it has long tendrils which will be a great consolation prize! LOL

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

One of my most loved songs Kell.

What ever color it may be, it will still be a beauty. With those tendrils and the separation of skirts it is no doubt going to be gorgeous.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Gosh, the cold weather sure does make things take their sweet time.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

It is looking odder and odder. But sure not looking pink! LOL

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

It does look odd . . you could have created something entirely new. The second skirt sure is long. Can't wait to see the final shape.

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Whoa....!

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

Looks like a hand with long skinny fingers, coming through the wrist of a sleeve....OK...think of a name quick!
Very unusual! WOW !!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

That is cool looking. Sure can't say it didn't drop it's inner skirt. I'll bet it will be very pretty once in full bloom.

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

kell, maybe you have created a tripple, sure looks different

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I just found this Kell. That sure is an odd flower.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

We are waiting on an update .....has anything changed?

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

bet kell will post about 2 am and give an update, I don't think she sleeps at times like this

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Kell, Are there any more buds on this plant or is this the only one ?

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Very interesting, Kell. Any updates?

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

That certainly is different. Wonder if it will do the same thing next year?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Still very unimpressive! LOL. But at this rate it will last for a month! LOL
