I sent you email :) while potting up the cuttings you sent me I discovered what I thought was a large leaf it is actualy either a new bloom, or a pod, it is on Pink Beauty, I suspect a bloom, OH MY.

Amazing it hung on so long! All the cuttings I took were laden with buds and blooms. It killed me to take them all off.
One 12 inch cutting I took for Betty last week of Buttefly had 18 buds and blooms on it. Killed me to snap it off the plant!
18 buds, wow. I hope this one stays on, it is very rigid, not drooping at all, I am so facinated with these plants, and to think all my years and I had never heard of them untill I found DG. and KELL

I am devasted, when I got up this morning the Bud was lying on the shelf of my greenhouse, it fell off during the night, don't know why because the stem is rather thick, didn't look weak at all, I sure was looking forward to seing it. it was under the light, and the temp, in there is 74
That's too bad, but your little cutting probably just got tired. You will see a lot more blooms on it next year.
Brugie you are right, it is a small cutting, very healthy but think it took too much energy.
kareoke...I had a bud fall off recently...a new brug (Rosamond) I have not seen...I put it in water and it is starting to turn pink at the edges...you might want to give it a try!
