Thanks for the warm welcome! I live in Florence, Mass and we got our first snow today so the gardening season is officially done for 2004. Looking forward to a winter of getting to know all of you on Dave's and talk gardening, gardening, and gardening! A special thanks to Terre for convincing me to join all of you.

Wow, you just said a bad word. SNOW...........I hate to think of it happening, but I know it won't be too much longer.

You poor thing no snow here yet.Just hang out here and soon it will be planting time again.Of corse seed trading can keep you busy and learning all the new and old ways of planting it is real neat.

I didn't know there was a chat here at Daves - hos do I do that? I searched on "Chat" but nothing came up and the forums don't show a chat listing.

It's on right now. On your main page you should be able to see two smiley faces with an announcement that "The Chat Room is Open". Click on that and it will take you right in. Some computers have trouble handling it though. I don't have any trouble getting into it on my computer, but when I'm at my mother's, I can't get into it from her computer. Good luck!

I guess I can't do that - there are no smiley faces on my home page, forum page, inf page, etc. I'm on AOL and they are sometimes funky with extras. Been having some computer problems that I posted to the computer forum, hopefully they will be able to help. Thanks!! Everyone has been so incredibly nice here at Daves. Alice S.
