I've been lurking on this forum for the past several weeks, and having a grand old time seeing everyone's pets and their antics!
So, I thought I would jump in and introduce my "family". I currently have one cat, Peter (aka Petey or Mr. Petes) who has been with me for 17 years. He was diagnosed about 4 years ago with feline hyperthyroidism; lost almost half of his body weight in what seemed like the blink of any eye. But he's still a spunky little thing, and my best companion (my people family refer to him as "my husband" - he is very , very protective of me).
