How I got "Peaches and Cream" to bloom...

Boulder Creek, CA(Zone 9a)

After much research and trying MANY things with no success, a local nursery person told me to pull the plant out of its 15 gallon pot and dump in an inch or two of ORGANIC bone meal. I did. Got tons o' blooms! She emphasized that the roots would need to _touch_ the bone meal.

Bone meal is incredibly high in phosphorus which is what a plant needs to bloom. I'm surprised your plant wasn't getting its needs met through your regular fertilizer.

And it does not burn them? I would try anything for lots of blooms! LOL

No burns _at all_, kell. Maybe being organic helps? Was that picture in your post P&C?

Will adding the phosphorus, and "forcing" the plant to bloom, tire it out, and cause it to have less blooms the next flush, or even any blooms at all?

Heavens no, just a pic I took yesterday of many blooms. I crave blooms! LOL I do not have P&C. Please post a pic of yours. Are the blooms similar to Maya?
