Hey!
It's that panic time of year! Trying to save what we can so the frost won't kill it!
So, we had a predicted frost here 2 nights ago, and I went out last night, flashlight in hand, and picked every green tomato off my ONE, very productive Tomato plant and a bunch of green cherry tomatoes as well off of my neighbor's plants. They don't care! besides, I planted them there. They all sprouted from my compost and I needed space to plant them. LOTS of them!!!! Now what do I do?????
They are really hard--not like "almost- ripe". If they would last "green" until Thanksgiving, i would like to take them as a "dish-to-share" to my lady-friend's house for Thanksgiving (besides my AWSOME Cranberry Sauce). Do you think it might be a worthwhile contribution????
I know I can rely on you all to help me out! You always do!
Thanks, Gitagal
