Susanne in late September

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

This brug is awesome. It blooms in flushes but almost always has blooms between flushes as well. She smells great and the blooms are huge. I couldn't find anything that I didn't like about this one.

That one is beautiful. Has Susanne been released?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I don't think so Linda. Could be wrong though.

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

Oh, that is gorgeous!

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Shirley , she is really beautiful. I am sure hoping for some pink in my yard next year. The last two years all I have had is yellow/orange , white . I have pink beauty in bud right now, but I don't see how it is going to bloom out before frost as slow as these flowers are opening at this point.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Fabulous flush Shirley. So pretty

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Beautiful Shirley!
Were you saving this one for us? I've been out chopping most of mine down today, so this looks really good!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks Vi. Wish I could have saved it, but our weather isn't that good. In the next few days we will probably dip into the upper teens. Winter is coming and much sooner than I want it to.

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

I volunteer for the Brugmansia Rescue and Care Shelter!!! They need a vacation!!! LOL

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

Shirley that is lovely

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

I saw that one in person ... Susanne is one awesome brug and on the top spot of my wish list. She is a real beauty!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks everyone. Tracey and Susie did very well with this one.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Stunner!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I just love this one. Yours is spectacular Brugie. AS USUAL!! I would love to know how you do it! I hope Susie or Tracey start selling brugs again soon. I am almost sure this one is not released so no one should have it unless they were entrusted by Tracey to trial it.

I sure hope no one lets it go before they are supposed to. Susie or Tracey should make back some of their expenses in growing all the brugs they did to get some great ones! It just costs so much to grow so many seedlings out, it is only right they get a little of that expense money back. And it only helps us for they will be able to grow out more!

Beautiful!!!

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

I haven't seen a brug yet that I didn't love, only certain colors I love more, like that one Kell

"I hope Susie or Tracey start selling brugs again soon."

Where are they??? Are they just not on DG any longer? Can someone check with them and let us know?

I would love to purchase this one from them!!!

Shirley and Kell....both pics of Susanne are just beautiful. It sure sounds like she is a great brug. And Shirley, I just hate to hear that winter is coming so soon. I really hate cold weather too, and I do feel for all the people in colder zones. Too bad we can't just have the wonderful tropical weather year round. (Wishful thinking here)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Brinda, I am with you on weather thoughts. I'd love to be able to just leave things in the ground year round. I'd be happy to give up bulbs, lilacs, and peony plants to have my brugs, ears, hibiscus, etc. in the ground and not in the house.

Thanks everyone. When this one is released, you really should get your order in for one. I know you would be totally happy with it. Another one that is awesome is Harlot. Great bloomer.

Boulder Creek, CA(Zone 9a)

Kell, is that picture you posted a "Suzanne"? It seems much more salmon than pink.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'm not Kell, but my picture was taken after the weather cooled, so the color isn't as intense. However, mine was always more pink than salmon. Maybe the kind of soil used made a difference.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Suzanne is an absolute beauty! Since this is her lovely winter "coat", will her color intensify during the summer? Does anyone know approximately when she'll be released???

Mirpur (A.K), Pakistan(Zone 9b)

Wow.............
Too much blooms, looking very beautiful, what is the age of this plant?
And what is the size of the pot ?

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

It really is just a spectacular plant! So beautiful

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks!!

The pot is a 20 gallon pot and the plant was new from a cutting this spring.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

You have the touch Brugie. The brug touch!!

If I had more time I would look for another picture. This brug is all pink, no salmon in them. She is a real girlie girl. Just a beauty. One of my best enjoyed! In constant pink bloom and one of my darkest pinks.

I just talked to Tracey and she said she should have her computer working by tonight. It has been down forever. Susanne is definitely not released yet. She said her store probably won't open until spring. BOOOOOOOOOOOO

And Boooo to Susie too. She is hanging out in the tropical forum. Her computer time is limited since she moved to her tropical paradise and only has dial up . She now has so many tropicals that will grow outside all year long she is shunning us. I may go over there and harass her! LOL

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Hey, sounds like fun. I'll be right behind you.

Susanne in different stages of bloom.

LOL Brugie!!! I meant I would go to the tropical forum to harass her! LOL

Lets go!

Love that picture. I just love that 4th darker bloom. The shape is just great!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Hey, I knew what you meant. LOL! Just happened to have my files open and had to post that picture.

Murrells Inlet, SC(Zone 8a)

My Susanne has been really pretty this summer also. Lots of blooms at different times but no heavy flushes like yours Shirley. The flower is huge and at times has been almost red,but I have it growing in a semi shaded area and I think that has made some of my pinks bloom quite a bit darker this year than they did last year planted in full sun.

That's really pretty Shirley.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Shirley & Kell - I LOVE a brug that loves the one it's with, LOL, and Susanne is apparently giving both of you all she has to give!! Really beautiful and girlie, I love her and her name...

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks Susie. Definitely a keeper in my book.

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Brugie -- she's just beautiful!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)
