We had a big day today, with the installation of the replacement windows. They are fantastic and the 2-person crew was great (a big difference from the roofing crew!). I'm sitting here in the office, noticing the conspicuous lack of a continuous cold breeze from the window near me. I have lots of pictures to post in my journal, but I doubt I'll get to it tonight.
On the 4-legged family member front, Sophia does have a small abbrasion on her cornea. He prescribed an antibacterial/anti-inflammatory ointment for her. When we first got there, she was so nervous after being around so many cars. Once she had people oohing and aahing over her and got to play with some corgi's and a terrier in the waiting room, she had calmed down quite a bit. I took her out to get a harness and a coat afterward. Yes, a coat. She's a little short-haired dog who shivers miserably in the cold.
Rescue adoption fee: blah dollars
Vet bill from poking dog in eye: blah-blah dollars
Doggie varsity jacket: yadda dollars
Shot of all three babies cuddled together: Priceless
