My obscura must be happy, I counted at least 10 flowa blooms this morning. It must like the cooler weather.
Blessings,
Awanda
Obscura blooms everywhere!!
Way to go! And don't they smell deeeelishus?
Obscura ~ "darkness".....I don't get it.....dark leaves? Grows in dark places? It's too lovely for that name! :~D
That's one big, beautiful, happy plant, Awanda.
Mine has a long way to go before it looks like that, sigh.
Kachinagirl...I think the name comes from the reddish color the leaves take on between the veins when exposed to high light...the more light, the deeper the red. Some clones tend to turn more easily than others. The flowers, too, get a pink tinge to those in higher light. :~D
