My Brug branches are breaking off......

Osage City, KS(Zone 5b)

I've got brugs in the house and in the basement........ They all are growing new leaves and seem to be doing well. BUT..... the ends of the branches are breaking off..... I'm holding the piece of the limb that came off from this branch. I've found several ends on different brugs like this that just seem to fall off. I'm sure I haven't explained this very well but I'm hoping the picture helps..... Is it something I'm doing or not doing..... to much or to little water...... to much or to little light..... ? I don't see any bugs on the brugs...... is it a bug chewing thru ..... ? Can you tell I'm new to brugs (LOL)......?

It happens. If you will notice, there is a new branch already starting at the point the old piece broke off. Don't worry, your plants looks great.

Were these all cuttings? It looks like the useless end that did not have a node broke cleanly to the last node. I have never seen this, usually it dies back to a node, but the brug looks so healthy I would not be worried.

Maybe someone who has experience with this will stop by. Remember they probably need much less water inside.

kell,
They were 'trees' that I got from RootDoctor. He trimmed them all up before he sent them home with me. I'm trying not to overwater them.... I've been watering using a pop bottle (12oz) once a week....... they are dropping leaves every now and then but I read in one of the other posts that was normal. Thanks for the input everyone is very supportive of us newbie's and our questions......
